Dressing down is becoming more and more mainstream for me. Yes, yes, laziness caught me again but hey, at least I feel comfortable in what I'm wearing, right? For me, one doesn't have to dress extravagantly most of the time especially if it doesn't make him/her comfortable and confident. The trick to presenting yourself; whether your clothes are simple, lazy, and perhaps thrifted, is through comfort and confidence.
This is what I wore for my "not-so-little-anymore" brother's graduation dinner. It was a cold evening so I had to put on some jacket just to keep me warm. It turns out I'm getting more and more hyped with denims.
Basic and simple, you can say it's lazy but that's the whole point of it. I've been being lazy on some particular stuff lately and sometimes it could reflect on the outfit I'm wearing. I also skipped the vintage-y effect for my photos (the red highlights you're seeing isn't because of photoshop, I picked a flower and placed it in front of the lens, not so lazy for creativity!) for the same reason. I don't know, maybe because I got fed up being responsible and meticulous on some of my MAJOR WANNABE subjects last semester which made me feel I want to slack sometimes, you know?
After making a new blog I promised to myself not to post entries which are too personal or too casual plainly because I don''t intend to share whatever random stuff happens to me which may affect my personal life (by this I mean blogging what I did hour by hour). Well, I'd say otherwise if it's funny though. I love being weird and all.
Since I don't want my blog to be idle, I'm regramming some of my photos from instagram. I'm letting the photos do its work in sharing some blog-worthy moments which happened this week (and more weeks to come).
For our English class, we had to present a play in partial fulfillment of our subject's requirements. We didn't want to be boring nor did we want to present an existing play and so my friend who has a knack in script writing, Janine, came up with Jubella (Juliet+Bella) and Romward (Romeo+Edward).
It's summer time and I'm out to play! It's good to be back also! Now that the "not-so-hellish" week is over, I have about 3 months to focus on blogging, crafting, TRAVELING and lots more! My schedule is pretty much light this month and as for me, a good way to start summer time is with a breezy, floral, summer dress!
So here's a quick update before my last hiatus strike for this month. Since it has been a while now, let me start off with a simple #ootd post.
I've been really stressed lately so I opted for a laid back attire. A simple button-down shirt with a belt wrapped around the waist paired with a bleached jeans is pretty laid back yet stylish.
It's been about two weeks (or so I think) since my last update. Needless to say, I'm very busy and will still be until next week. I've tried squeezing in some "blogging" time but unfortunately, I couldn't pull my academic attention down. I'm very satisfied with my midterm grades but I still want to improve on it.
I'm in a coffee shop right now, and I have all my papers, notes, bulky books and etc. with me. Spell workaholic?
As soon as I finish my exams, do expect for more posts! For now, this is all I could do.
